Alex Anuta joined the Climate Smart Lab as a Master’s student in Environmental Sciences at the University of Prince Edward Island, and later transferred to the PhD program after demonstrating advanced research aptitudes. Alex has previously completed a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Biology at the same university, where he gained valuable experience in proteomics, genetics, and biomedical research. Passionate about contributing to the field of climate change and adaptation, Alex’s research will focus on sustainable livestock development under changing climate conditions. In addition to his research goals, Alex aims to further develop his data analysis and graphing skills through programming, particularly using R, to enhance his contributions to the field.
