Shu Zhang joins Climate Smart Lab as a Master’s student of Environmental Sciences at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI). Prior to pursuing his graduate studies, Shu dedicated over six years to the field of grain storage, following his graduation from Henan University of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Engineering. With experience as a specialist in grain storage management, Shu’s research will focus on the impact of climate change on both the global grain supply and the local storage of potatoes in PEI.
