Parsons graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a (hons) Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2023. She has also been working with Agriculture and Agrifoods Canada since 2022 as an undergraduate student research assistant and has now begun working with them as a graduate student, helping conduct research on disease forecasting models for potato late blight. She joined the climate-smart lab team at UPEI as a master’s student in January 2024 and she is very excited to be studying at the university.
