Tianze joined the Climate Smart Lab on January 2022, as a PhD student in environmental sciences of UPEI. Before this he graduated from University of Saskatchewan with a Master of Water Security (2021), and from Ocean University of China with a Bachelor of Engineering in Geo-information Science and Technology (2020). He has a multidisciplinary background in marine geosciences, hydrology, and geomatics. Currently Tianze is focusing on the research of modeling and investigating the coastal erosion and nearshore hydrodynamics of Prince Edward Island.
